Sunday Advice – Work one thing at a time!

Almost everyone is working at multiple projects, personal or professional, during the day at the same time. That results in burning out our brains and not really making any progress.

Stay Focused

If you focus on only one thing at a time, it is proven that you will get better results and have time to work on an other. Plus, image how you will feel if you complete your first task. Your confidence will increase, and you will feel ready to start the next task, even if it’s a hard one.

Make a list

Make a schedule and stick to it. Do not try to fill everything in one day. There will never be engough time. Make a list, prioritise it, and schedule your program with only the 3 first items from your list. That way you will have time for unexpected events (that always appear on a busy day), and you will be able, by the end of the day, to look back and hopefully see that you complete those 3 tasks instead of have a list of 10 or 20 items that kind of made progress on some of them.

  • Always prepare your list the day before to prevend burnout at the morning trying to figure out what will you work on next.
